Monte Carlo simulation machine

■ This is an article posted on June 2016, 3, so the content of the information may be out of date.

In response to a request from a customer who is considering the introduction of a calculation machine for Monte Carlo simulation, please let us know the specifications of the machine currently used by the customer and propose a better performance than that. I received an inquiry asking for it.

Since you are considering memory-distributed parallel computing, the proposed content is based on the premise that it is possible to perform calculations with a certain degree of efficiency. (Please let us know after notifying that parallel calculation may be slow for calculations that are not valid.)

Two Xeon E5-2650v3 CPUs (2.30GHz (TB 3.00GHz) 10 cores) are used for the CPU, ECC + REG memory is 2GB for the memory, and HDD of 64TB is near line.
