A number of researchers have reported methods for side-channel attacks against CPUs with speculative execution capabilities (JVNVU # 93823979 (CVE-2017-5715, CVE-2017-5753, CVE-2017-5754)

Vulnerability summary

If an attack with the vulnerability pointed out this time is received, the data in the memory of the target device may be illegally acquired.

* Unless a malicious program is executed on the system, this vulnerability will not cause any damage.
* There is no possibility of falsification of data due to this vulnerability.

Measures for this problem

You will need to update your BIOS version to address this issue and apply the security patch for your operating system. For the BIOS release status of your machine, please check the release status of the following motherboard manufacturers.
