We received an inquiry about the PC for performing the XNUMXD data image analysis of X-ray CT using the image analysis software ImageJ and software created by the customer using MATLAB.
The main purpose is to read slice data of X-ray CT using ImageJ, stack and display in 3D. We also received a request from the user to read out the scattering intensity from the X-ray scattering time-division 2D detector data using our own software using MATLAB and extract the change over time.
Because of the large amount of image data to be processed and the number of images, we requested a high-performance CPU, video card, and memory of 64GB or more. It was equipped with and was proposed with the specifications that balanced the CPU and video card.
【Main Specifications】
CPU | Core i9 9900K (3.60GHz 8 cores) |
memory | 64GB (16GBx4) |
storage | M.2 SSD 1TB |
video | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 |
network | GigabitLAN x1 |
Housing + power supply | Middle tower housing (width 233 x height 465 x depth 543 mm) + 850W |
OS | Windows 10 Professional 64bit |
It is estimated that the memory capacity is important due to the nature of the processing, but in the configuration proposed this time, 64 GB is the maximum memory capacity. If memory capacity is expected to be added later, it is possible to change the configuration so that the memory capacity can be added later within the budget by dropping the specifications of the CPU and video card.
