We received an inquiry about a machine for performing thermo-fluid analysis using ProCAST and OpenFOAM.It is a consultation that you want to install a CPU with the maximum number of cores and a storage with a mirroring configuration within the budget of 150 million yen. This time, we have made the following two types of proposals.

Case No. PC-8017A is a proposal with one CPU configuration.
As the customer requested, multi-core CPU is often effective for general CFD analysis, so we chose W-2295, which has the maximum number of cores in the Xeon W series. The required specifications of the video card differ depending on whether or not OpenFOAM pre-post is graphically processed, so we will change it according to your wishes.

Case No. PC-8017B is a proposal with a 2-CPU configuration.
In order to install a larger number of cores, we adopted a Xeon Scalable series CPU that supports a 2-CPU configuration, and proposed a configuration with the largest number of cores that can be selected within the budget.
