Machine for CAE (512GB memory specification)

We received a consultation from a customer that we would like to speed up the CAE software "Femtet" as much as possible within the budget of 100 million yen.

We have received information that the parallelization option has been introduced, but the improvement in the parallel processing capacity of Femtet will peak at around 8 threads.
On the other hand, the amount of memory used varies depending on the type of calculation, and in some cases it may consume hundreds of GB, so we have introduced a configuration that can mount a large amount of memory with one CPU configuration.

In this example, the configuration uses Xeon W, but the advantage of using Xeon is that the upper limit of the installed memory capacity is high.With this budget, it is possible to install memory up to 512GB.
The CPU is a 8-core product with some margin on the assumption that 8 cores will be used for calculation, considering that the improvement of parallel processing of Femtet will reach a plateau around 12 threads.

If you consider using the same budget, we have some margin up to the budget limit, so we also accept requests such as increasing the amount of storage.
