About Ned
Ned is an open source robot arm for education and research with 6-axis control manufactured by Niryo, France. This is the next-generation model of the robot arm "Niryo One" from Kickstarter (latest model released in January 2021).
In addition to the 6-axis control that is characteristic of the Niryo series, the aluminum structure that realizes the smooth movement of Ned and the high accuracy and reproducibility (0.5 mm) enable complex movements required in the industrial field. It is a model for a collaborative robot (Cobot) to reproduce.
Various connectivity has been improved by installing Raspberry Pi 4, and it is suitable for robot utilization prototyping on production lines based on Industry 4.0 orientation.
