About pmd flexx2 Development Kit

The pmd flexx2 Development Kit (DevKit) is a Time-of-Flight (ToF) type 38D depth sensing development kit with a resolution of 56K and a viewing angle of 44 x 3 degrees. A software development kit (SDK) "Royale" is included, and the code is compatible with the conventional Pico Flexx. Furthermore, "Royale" supports common programming extensions such as Matlab, OpenCV, ROS 1 +2, etc., which is convenient for development.

* About the version

  • DevKit: Encased, CE Certified, Class 1 laser product
  • OEM: No casing, no CE certification, not laser certified(must be done by end-user)

It can be used for mobile applications (face recognition, gestures), automobiles (gesture control and monitoring), robotics and drones (autonomous navigation), AR (virtual reality), etc.
