Of the software you use, Metashape, TerraMapper, and Pix4DField are SfM software, and AutoCAD is CAD software. There is no problem with GPU for SfM series software, but NVIDIA RTX series (formerly Quadro series) is generally recommended for CAD series software.
It is possible to use SfM software with NVIDIA RTX GPUs, but the GPU cost will increase significantly. You can balance the cost by lowering your GPU power, but doing so may result in less processing power than your current machine.
In this case, since it is said that "AutoCAD will be used as a supplement," SfM software was prioritized, and Geforce RTX4090 was used.

Regarding the GPU x2 configuration, it is a performance improvement method in the RTX2080Ti generation, but in order to install two GPUs, the cooler of the GPU itself must be an external exhaust type.However, the RTX2 series, which is the latest generation at the moment, does not have an external exhaust type product.
