E-Prime 3.0 can read files created with E-Prime 1.x (.es format) and E-Prime 2.0 (.es2 format).

How to read .es/.es3.0 format files with E-Prime 2

  1. Click "Open" from the "File" menu item in E-Studio 3 to open the folder where the target file is saved.

  2. By default, only files with the ".es3" extension are displayed, so select ".es2" or ".es" from the drop-down menu at the bottom right of the file selection screen.

  3. Select the target file and click "Open"
  4. Click "Yes" on the displayed file conversion tool to convert to ".es3" format

  5. ButtonDevice and ScriptDevice will be added to the default settings, please change the settings as necessary.
