A customer inquired about a PC for the purpose of simulating metal processing.
Your requirements are as follows.

・CPU: The number of clocks is important. Since long-time calculation is expected, Xeon is preferred.
・GPU: NVIDIA RTX A2000 or higher
・Memory: 32GB or more, I want to have some margin
・Software used: DEFORM (4 core license) 
・Others: We are also considering using it for machine learning

Based on the information you provided, we proposed the following configuration.

If you prioritize the use of DEFORM, you can only use up to 4 cores due to license restrictions, so it is considered appropriate to select a CPU with a small number of cores and a high base clock.Based on this point, this example is a configuration that uses Xeon 8-core products.

■ Points

・CPU selection
I chose W-2245 (3.90GHz 8 cores). The Xeon W-2200 series has a 4-core product with a higher clock, but in this case, it is assumed that the clock will be increased with TurboBoost and other tasks will be performed at the same time, so the number of cores is set with a margin. .

・Selecting a video card
NVIDIA RTX A4500 is assumed for use in machine learning.
