Is it possible to use PyArmor without a product name?

Information from our company

You can use PyArmor even if you don't have an official name for your product.
When setting up PyArmor, register the product name as TBD, To Be Determined, and re-link it with the official name before sales start.

※important※
After linking with the official name, the product name cannot be changed again.
Also, there is a limit of "within 6 months after setup" to change to the official name. After 6 months or more,It will automatically become "non-profits" and will not be available for commercial use.

*TBD is an option available only with PyArmor Pro / Basic

Setup when the product name is undecided

  1. Save the activation file on the PC where you will install PyArmor
    *The activation file is a text file containing the setup code issued by the manufacturer.
  2. Register activation file with command for unnamed product
    *xxxx is different for each license

    $ pyrarmor reg -p "TBD" pyrarmor-regcode-xxxx.txt
  3. Once the official name is decided, change the name with the following command
    *The connection with the official name isBefore product saleTo do

    $ pyrarmor reg -p "Product name" pyrarmor-regcode-xxxx.txt

reg -pAfter the“TBD”By specifying , you can set up the product name in a changeable state.
If you have registered with a development code or temporary name, you cannot change the name.
“TBD”The change from to the official name is "possible only once before the sale of the product and within 6 months from the setup".
