Vehicle 3D model creation machine | Information dissemination media for research and development TEGAKARI

A customer involved in automobile development consulted us about a PC for generating 3D models of vehicles. Based on 3D scanning processing with RealityCapture and Nanite mesh creation with Unreal Engine 5, 3D demonstration using VR goggles with NVIDIA's Instant NeRF is also expected.Along with that, we would like to request a PC for model creation and a storage configuration suitable for storing digital data.

Based on the contents of the consultation, we proposed the following configuration.

This casePC 10063, but the configuration of PC-10063 is an old generation, so I proposed the configuration with the latest 13th generation Core i9. In anticipation of using RealityCapture, the video card uses the latest generation RTX4000 series.Since it is a high-end class video card, it can also be used for NeRF.

The configuration of this case study is based on the conditions given by the customer.

・What is NeRF?
NeRF is a method of estimating the 3D shape of an object and the radiance of its surface using deep learning.The shape is represented as a radiance field in a continuous 3D space instead of a point cloud, and estimated using a neural network from the image.High-quality images can be generated from the estimated radiance field at arbitrary viewpoints and lighting.Compared to conventional methods, photorealistic image generation is possible, and since 3D shapes can be represented continuously, it is suitable for use in VR/AR.
