Software for accelerator design and simulation developed by the Saclay Nuclear Agency Center (CEA Saclay Center) in France on the Unipos website "TraceWin / GenLinWin etc.page has been added.
About the CEA Saclay Center
France's leading research and development center for advanced science and technology, mainly engaged in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, new energy technology, and basic scientific research. The history of nuclear power development is long, and research on nuclear reactors and radiation utilization has been conducted since the 1950s.
Available Products
CEA/DACM software (CEA Saclay Center) develops code for designing and simulating a wide range of accelerators, from ion source extraction systems to targets in particle accelerators and injectors.
The following 7 types of codes are available for each energy range and application.
Transport codes
Toutatis
PIC code for simulating the transport of high-intensity ion beams in high-frequency quadrupoles.Dynamically calculate the motion of particles and electric fields by solving Poisson's equation using the finite difference method.
TraceWin
Code for linear and nonlinear calculations of ion or electron beams in 2D/3D. It can also be used as a GUI for Toutatis and Partran (macroparticle transport in linac).
Beta (free code)
A beam optics code that aids in the design of accelerators and transfer lines, and calculates and optimizes key machine functions.
Generator codes
RFQ Designer
Code that assists the designer of a high-frequency quadrupole accelerator in setting the key parameters and transforms the user's constraints and objectives into a file describing an RFQ cavity that meets these constraints and objectives.
GenDTL
Code for designing a linac section based on the Alvarez structure. It helps adjust the magnetic field amplitude and phase law for each tank in the section.
Gen Lin Win
Code for designing independent phase cavities. It helps to adjust the amplitude and phase of each cavity in the array.
visualization
Plot Win (free code)
Code to plot beam phase space portraits from TraceWin and Toutatis output files (.dst and .plt).
