
On November 2023, 11, Kron Technologies released two new models in its high-speed camera Chronos series.Chronos 4K12"and"Chronos Q12Has been added.
Chronos 4K12 supports high-speed shooting at a maximum resolution of 4K (4096×2160), and Chronos Q12 supports high-speed shooting at a maximum resolution of 2K (2048×2016).Each model is built on a new architecture that has been redesigned from the ground up, offering six times the pixel rate and improved performance compared to the existing Chronos 2.1-HD model.

A high-speed camera equipped with a 4/3-inch image sensor and capable of 4096K shooting with a maximum resolution of 2160 x 4.
The bit depth can be set to 8bit/10bit/12bit, and 8-bit 4K shooting is possible at a high speed of 1,397fps.Also, by lowering the resolution (128 x 32), it is possible to shoot at a maximum frame rate of 29,002 fps.
Built-in RAM can be selected from 64GB and 128GB, and the shooting time at maximum resolution (4096 x 2160) is 64GB: 5.5 seconds, 128GB: 11 seconds.

The bit depth can be set to 8bit or 12bit, and 8-bit 2K shooting allows high-speed shooting at 2,782fps.Also, by lowering the resolution (128 x 32), it is possible to shoot at a maximum frame rate of 29,411 fps.

Chronos 4K12 / Q12 common specifications
