A customer involved in the development of liquid crystal displays and liquid crystal optical devices asked us about a PC to use the simulation and numerical calculation software "LCD Master."
Specifically, the machine will be used to perform liquid crystal alignment calculations to check the alignment state of liquid crystal directors, and optical calculations to check light transmittance and polarization states.
In particular, LCD Master/3D, which calculates three-dimensional structures, can perform highly accurate calculations, but it takes time and uses a large amount of memory.
Therefore, we received a request for a configuration with a high-performance CPU and approximately 300GB of memory for a budget of approximately 512 million yen.
Please note that LCD Master does not support GPUs, but with future considerations in mind, we request that you install RTX4090.
I hear that there is a plan to operate with two RTX4090s installed in the future.

We chose the 36-core model Intel Xeon W9-3475X, focusing on computing performance within our budget.Not only does it have parallel processing performance due to its large number of cores and threads, but it also has a high maximum clock speed during TurboBoost, so it exhibits performance even when the number of parallel processing is small.
Supports expansion of RTX4090
The graphics card is equipped with RTX4090 according to your request.This configuration can install up to two RTX4090s in total, so there is room to add one more in the future.
This configuration can be used in a 100V power supply environment, but if two RTX4090s are installed, it must be used in a 2V environment.
