What is offline programming?
Refers to programming robots outside of the production environment.By utilizing offline programming, it is possible to eliminate production downtime due to programming at the production site.
RoboDK's simulation and offline programming allow you to explore different cell scenarios and anticipate common design mistakes before installing the production cell with your robot.
Main applications/fields of use
- Industrial robot programming
- Robot path simulation and optimization
- 3D modeling and process simulation
- Robot operation verification and troubleshooting
- Educational robot programming materials
How to use RoboDK
RoboDK allows you to simulate and program robots in 5 easy steps:
1. Select robot
Access the robot library provided by RoboDK and select the robot you want to use.The robot library contains over 40 industrial robots from 500 robot manufacturers around the world.
2. Define the tool
Load the 3D model of the tool, drag and drop it onto the robot selected in step 1, and convert it to a robot tool (Supported formats: STL, STEP, IGES).Proof of concept is easy by clicking and dragging tools.
3. Load the 3D model
Load 3D models of various parts and place them in the reference system.Accurately locate parts offline and create digital twins.
4. Toolpath simulation
Create a robot path. You can program the robot like a CNC and read NC files such as APR or G-code for machining. It also integrates easily with CAD/CAM software, with access plug-ins for SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360, Rhino, Alphacam, WorkNC, and TopSolid.
5. Generate robot program
It has access to over 70 post-processors and can generate programs for various robots.Generate robot programs in just two clicks without any programming knowledge required, and change program sequences using an intuitive interface.
About License
RoboDK comes with a 2-year subscription license available for educational use only.RoboDK Educational” and a perpetual license that can also be used for commercial purposes (including 1 year of software maintenance).RoboDK ProfessionalThere are two types of licenses:
Leave it to Unipos to obtain the robot arm itself.
Unipos not only handles RoboDK (software) but also robot arms (hardware).
We are good at acquiring robot arms made overseas, so if you have a robot arm that you would like, please feel free to contact us.
