About ZED
ZED Additionally, lenses can be selected according to the application, and all models support secure connections via GMSL2.
It captures spatial awareness smoothly and dynamically, just like a human, and records rich texture and color data. ZED SDK can add depth, motion detection, and spatial AI to any application.
It also uses FAKRA connectors, which provide excellent signal transmission and waterproof properties. Therefore, it can be used in a variety of applications, such as in-vehicle cameras for agriculture, logistics, and construction.
Sensor and S-mount lens selection
The photo on the left is ZED X1 Global Shutter Wide (wide angle), and the photo on the right is ZED X1 Global Shutter Narrow (narrow angle). The lens options have the following differences:
- Wide angle 2.2mm fixed focus lens: Extremely wide field of view and high quality images with optical distortion correction
- Narrow angle 4mm focal length lens: Ideal for improving resolution and depth accuracy over long distances
- Wide angle 3.1mm fixed focus lens: Distortion correction and optimum light sensitivity can be ensured.

Application example
The examples below are all HD @60FPS. It provides high-resolution video quality and smooth video playback, achieving clear images even in detailed movements and high-speed action scenes.
Monocular setup for 2D applications
ZED X One can be used for 2D applications just like traditional AI cameras.

Obstacle detection with wide baseline stereo system
Seamlessly integrate a pair of ZED X Ones for long-range depth perception with a wide baseline stereo system. This feature is particularly useful for depth sensing and object detection for large vehicles.

Surround vision for safe navigation
