Research and development sites often require products with unique specifications that are customized to the needs of the research content and research process. At Tegara, we provide a service (*) that provides a complete set of the environment necessary for research and development, as well as prototyping the jigs necessary for our customers' research and development. This time, we would like to introduce customer feedback when using our hardware.I want to prototype parts and jigs like this because it's easy.We would like to introduce an example of a jig prototype that corresponds to ``.

What is a jig?
Jigs are auxiliary tools used in manufacturing and processing processes. Specifically, by fixing the workpiece (work-in-progress or parts) and maintaining a state that makes it easy to position and process, it assists in processing and inspection at accurate positions and angles. For example, a jig is a device used to stack metal or plastic parts or to support them during processing. It contributes to improving quality and productivity, and plays an important role in creating consistent products.
Solve customer issues with prototypes using 3D printers!
There are a variety of customer requests and issues that need to be resolved. In this case study, we will introduce requests for improvement in response to defects and fixing jigs to improve the efficiency of experiments.
Please note that we use our own 3D printer to manufacture these jigs. In addition to jigs, we also accept inquiries such as ``I want to obtain repair parts'' and ``I want special parts for a specific purpose.'' Please feel free to contact us.
"3D printer parts prototyping service" Including this example, we are accepting consultations for prototypes of substitutes, custom parts, and accessories for hardware and open source development kit parts provided by overseas product procurement service Unipos. |
Prototype example
Robot arm (NED) related parts |
We generated replacement parts when parts were damaged. Link mechanisms can also be created from publicly available information. |
Mounter for quadruped robots |
We prototyped a fixing jig to load a robot arm on top of a quadruped walking robot (Unitree A4). |
Arctos Robot Arm (Open source) |
The components of an open source robot arm were printed using a 3D printer and assembled. |
Jig for videotaping insects |
We created a prototype environment and jig for photographing insects, assuming that insect movements will be analyzed using the behavior analysis tool "DeepLabCut." |
