Orbbec has released the latest model of the Gemini series, the next generation series "Gemini330" (released April 2024, 4 local time). Two models have been announced for this new series: "Gemini 29" and "Gemini 335L".
What is Orbbec Gemini 335/335L?
Gemini 335 is a rolling shutter type, and Gemini 335L is a global shutter type.
The major difference from the previous Gemini2 series is the significant change in the IR camera. From IR-Pass to All-Pass, it can be used indoors and outdoors under various lighting conditions, from pitch-black environments to bright outdoors.
It is also equipped with the in-house developed depth calculation chip, MX6800. This state-of-the-art chip improves depth calculation accuracy, resolution, and frame rate. This has resulted in even clearer depth images of small objects, reflective objects, etc.
