The main reason is that Klaric products have many functions and features that enable you to shorten the preparation time for vehicle testing by "50% or more." Below, we will introduce each of these functions.

Point 1: Wide range measurement

Covers measurements from low range standby state to high range operating state

Klaric's measurement modules have an internal gain amplifier, which allows for a wide input voltage range, and the gain can be set from 1x to 100x, allowing for a rangeability of 100x.

Point 2: Auto range

No need to set the range in advance, greatly reducing preparation time before testing

Klaric measurement modules come standard with an auto-range function that automatically switches the measurement range according to the signal level, eliminating the need to set the range before testing, significantly reducing the time required for test preparation.

The greatest advantage of the auto-range function is that it can measure current and voltage with the highest resolution for the measurement value.

When measuring a maximum current of 10A with a shunt resistor of 100mΩ, the measurement module has an accuracy of ±0.1% reading ±3bit. As shown in the table below, the smaller the measurement value, the more dramatically the measurement accuracy at the maximum range improves.

Point 3: Dynamic sampling rate

The sampling rate can be changed automatically, greatly reducing the amount of data in standby mode.

Dynamic sampling rates come as standard in Klaric measurement modules.

A threshold is set for the measurement value, and the sampling rate is automatically adjusted when the measurement value exceeds the threshold. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the amount of data during component wait times.

Point 4: Automatic probe recognition function

Automatically obtains probe calibration information, greatly reducing preparation time before testing

Every Klaric probe center contains a chip that stores the sensor information and calibration values.

Klaric's measurement module reads the sensor data from the probe sensor, automatically identifies the sensor and automatically sets up the measurement.

This function reduces human errors such as incorrect device settings.

Point 5: Highly accurate sum

Accuracy specifications: ±0.1% reading ±3bit 23℃±5℃, ±1% reading ±3bit -40℃~+85℃ *

*The AD converter has 16 bits, of which 1 bit is a parity bit, so the measurement value has a resolution of 15 bits (2^(-15)).

Point 6: Automatic DBC/A2L file generation

Automatically generate DBC or A2L files and integrate them into the system

All Klaric measurement modules output data via CAN Bus and XCP-On-Ethernet outputs.

For CAN Bus, DBC files and A2L files for signal recognition are automatically generated and integrated into the CAN system.

This allows synchronous measurement of vehicle ECU signals using a commercially available CAN data logger, or it can be easily imported to a PC via a CAN-USB converter.


Using Klaric measuring instruments with the above features will reduce the time required for vehicle testing, thereby accelerating the research and development of electric vehicles.
