The Toyohashi University of Technology Robocon Club achieved a historic third consecutive victory at the NHK-sponsored Student Robocon 2024 held on Sunday, June 6, 9.Armed with refined intelligence and technology, 2024 will be held on Sunday, August 8th.It will be held in Halong Bay, Vietnam.ABU RoboconI will be representing Japan.
ABU Robocon is a wonderful competition where students from the Asia-Pacific region come together to compete in robotics technology. We will be representing Japan at ABU Robocon 8, which will be held in Quang Ninh, Vietnam on August 25th. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Tegara Corporation (Unipos) and many other companies, organizations, and individuals for their generous support and cooperation in our participation in ABU Robocon. At the NHK Student Robocon, we were able to win the championship with an overwhelmingly stable robot that surpassed the other teams. At the world championships, we will use the stability that we are proud of to compete against strong rivals from overseas. There is not much time left until the competition, but the team will work together to improve and adjust the robot. The ABU Robocon is a great opportunity to show the world Japan's technological capabilities. We hope that our challenge will lead to further development and excitement of Robocon in Japan. We do not want to end this challenge as just a challenge, but will live up to everyone's expectations by winning the ABU Robocon and let the world know about Japan's high level of technological capabilities. We will do our best to win ABU Robocon 2024 and become the first Japanese representative to win the world championship twice in a row. Please support us! What is ABU Robocon?
The ABU Robocon (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Robot Contest) is a robotics competition for university students in the Asia-Pacific region. Each team designs and builds a robot based on a given theme, and competes against each other on technical and creative capabilities.
This competition is seen as a gateway to success for young engineers and a place for the participants to grow. The ideas and technologies that are produced are remarkable, and it is a valuable opportunity to share them with the world.
