Various modules such as displays and lenses, mechanical parts, accessories such as cables, and 3D printed parts are included in the set (Leap Motion Controller is not included and must be purchased separately).

Project North Star Kit is divided into the following 4 categories of parts groups.

[1] Specialized and hard-to-find parts: – Combiners (aka lenses or reflectors), Display Driver Board, and displays.

[2] Off-the-shelf mechanical components: – Screws, springs, aluminum bars, foam padding, headband resizer, etc.

[3] Accessories: – Cables, USB extension cable power adapter, display driver debug header adapter, etc.

[4] 3D-printed plastic mechanical components: – Optics brackets, electronics trays, slide mechanisms, display holders, etc.

The following three types of kits are available, depending on which parts listed above are included.

・ Kit A / Complete set other than 3D printed parts ([1] [2] [3])
・ Kit B / Complete set of all necessary parts including 3D printed parts ([1] [2] [3] [4])
・ Kit C / Complete version with all parts assembled + calibrated ([1] [2] [3] [4])
