On the Unipos website, x-io Technologies' inertial measurement unit with the latest housing specifications "x-IMU3 ” product information has been added.
x-IMU3 is a next-generation inertial measurement unit (IMU) with a housing and battery.Although it is compact, it is equipped with a 3-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, barometric pressure and humidity sensor. There are differences in sensors etc. from the existing model NGIMU.x-IMU3Please refer to the specification comparison of and NGIMU.
x-IMU3 about
x-IMU3is a high-performance IMU that supports a wide range of applications from biomechanics to robotics.Easily connect to mobile and desktop devices via USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or choose serial communication for embedded and industrial systems.
A microSD card inside the device allows it to be used as a standalone data logger. In addition to the 3G acceleration sensor, the x-IMU24 is equipped with a 200G acceleration sensor, and the sensor can measure at a high sampling rate of 400Hz to 1600Hz.In terms of durability, it has an IP67 rating, meaning it can withstand harsh weather conditions and even be temporarily submerged in water.
As an added value, the x-IMU3 offers open source software and can be developed in multiple programming languages.Additionally, this device has extremely high performance as a wireless IMU, and can easily perform synchronized measurements with multiple IMUs.
Main features of x-IMU3
- IP67 water resistance
- 400Hz high speed IMU measurement
- Multiple connectivity options (USB/WiFi/Bluetooth/serial communication)
- Independent data logger function (built-in storage/standalone operation/battery powered)
- High precision calibration
