Next-generation sequencer analysis machine (assuming use of Bioconda3)

A customer inquired about a machine for using the next-generation sequencer analysis software "Bioconda3".The expected specs are as follows.

CPU: About Xeon 36 threads
Memory: ECC 64-128GB
Storage: SSD 1TB + HDD 6TB
OS: Ubuntu 20.04
Other: Bioconda3 pre-installed

In addition to Bioconda3, we plan to use BWA, GATK, STAR-fusion, Samtools, Bedtools, etc., and would like to make a proposal within the budget range of 140 million yen.

In our proposal, we quoted for a configuration that uses Xeon W with 36 threads.
Since 6TB HDD products are rarely distributed and there is little advantage in terms of cost, 8TB products are selected as alternatives.

In addition, although there is room in the upper limit of the budget, the video card is an entry-class product that only considers screen output because there is no software that uses GPGPU in the software you plan to use. If you also assume the use of GPU, it is possible to change to a higher-end product.
